One day - two teams - one big list - endless fun. For our August open-invite Meerkat Sandbox, we all went out to play some video games. That is, games with videocameras. After 2 hours, a lotta delicious corn dogs, and plenty of sun, this was our experience. Much thanks to all those who participated. Keep your eyes peeped for more Sandbox funstuffs from Meerkat!
Our collaboratively made short about vanishing honeybees and local beekeepers as featured in New York Magazine and the Huffington Post!
The short is an official selection of the 2008 Media That Matters Film Festival! The fest is a yearlong showcase of 12 social issue films all under 12 minutes. You can watch all the fantastic documentaries on their site all year round.
Made in 24 hours for the 2008 NYC Film Race. They gave us a subject: “Happy Birthday” and an element we had to include in the film: “Hanging a picture.”
adrienne, lee, sally and i met up in austin, tx, put on some dresses and broke out the camera.
we found out after we made this that (according to the internet) the title of this cem karaca song means something like “my woman’s virginity makes me troubled”.
Better late than never. After five months of telling people that there would be a ‘new cartoon soon’ we finally got the new episode back from the Korean animation studio. Now we can say ‘new cartoon soon’ about a whole new cartoon that we haven’t even started yet.
Our friend Elliott, who just left New York (linesblog.com), was an enormous help and made all of the music and voiced about half of the cartoon. We love you Elliott.
